Piscataqua River Bridge

Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Piscataqua River Bridge joins the New Hampshire Turnpike and the Maine Turnpike. This high level crossing functionally replaces an older drawbridge structure that once connected the turnpikes via the U.S. Route 1 Bypass. A lead-paint removal and repainting project is nearing completion.
